In just 5 years’ time, the cost of type 2 diabetes in the US alone has risen 42%, according to the American Diabetes association.
It would follow, then, that all the accessories for managing and treating the disease would also grow as an industry, even in some unlikely places.
Computer industry giant Google announced recently that it is developing a virtually pain-free way to monitor blood glucose levels, without ever having to stick flesh with a needle.
The new device they are working on checks blood sugar levels using a special for the eye. In it, a microchip and miniature transmitter monitor levels and transmit the results painlessly, requiring no more finger sticks.
The device, though, is still in the developmental stage, with actual release not scheduled to occur for at least 5 more years.
In the meantime, it can also be painless to reverse type two diabetes with this comprehensive but easy-to-do 3 step plan, with do drugs, in less than 30 days…
Hmmmm, Adult onset diabetes is not a disease, its just one of many symptoms of personally-generated metabolic dysfunction. The reason the medical and pharmaceutical industries are so inept at treating it is because it's a fitness problem, not a medical problem and the chances of fixing a fitness problem with a medical solution are quite remote. Once you can get 1000 Aerabytes a week I'd say you wouldn't have a problem regulating your blood sugar. The tragedy is the medical industry does not have an exercise prescription of sufficient intensity, frequency and duration to fix the problem. Most people don't know how hard they need to train to fix the problem themselves. http://www.johnmiller.com.au/aerabyte.pdf
great hi tech device to measure blood glucose but I still want to know how they progress on checking immune system's macrophages to attack pancreas to start type 2 dianetes
