Three oils kills Nail Fungus (better than drugs)Nail fungus affects about 5–10% of people worldwide, and current medications are expensive, often ineffective, and harsh on your liver and kidneys.

For a potentially better solution, researchers recently published a literature review investigating the effects of essential oils on nail fungus.

You can find the study in Physis, the health journal of the State University of Rio de Janeiro.

The researchers noticed that many plant-based oils have natural antifungal properties and wondered if they could work as well as conventional treatments, but with fewer side effects.

They began by searching five major medical databases to find every study that had ever tested essential oils on nail fungus.

Out of 207 research papers, they narrowed it down to just six high-quality studies that met strict scientific criteria.

They then carefully analyzed what each study found. Two were laboratory experiments testing oils on infected nail samples, while four were clinical trials with real patients.

The clinical trials included a total of 263 people with nail fungus. Some studies compared essential oils directly to standard antifungal medications, while others tested combinations of different oils or included added ingredients like vitamins.

Here’s what the researchers discovered when they combined all the evidence:

1. Tea tree oil performed just as well as clotrimazole (a common antifungal medication) in a study of 117 patients over six months.

2. Pure tea tree oil alone helped 27% of patients achieve a complete cure, and 65% saw partial improvement over six months.

3. A combination of lime, oregano, and tea tree oils plus vitamin E led to complete cure in nearly 79% of patients after six months.

4. Laboratory tests showed that lemongrass oil was highly effective at preventing and treating nail infections in infected nail samples.

5. Advanced delivery methods like nanocapsules helped the oils work even better by allowing deeper penetration into the nail.

The researchers concluded that tea tree, clove, oregano, thyme, and lemongrass essential oils show real promise as natural treatments for nail fungus.

But they also noted that most of the available studies were not of high scientific quality.

If you want to try it against your nail fungus, mix one or two drops of tea tree oil into a teaspoon of carrier oil (such as coconut or olive oil) and brush it on twice daily.

But the most powerful way to tackle stubborn nail fungus naturally is attacking it from both inside and outside – it’s actually quite simple – thousands of readers have done just that using the simple steps explained here…
