This ancient plant eliminates EDThe search for natural remedies for ED has intensified as more men seek alternatives to prescription drugs.

A recent study published in the International Journal of Impotence Research suggests a possible answer: a spiky plant called Tribulus terrestris.

This plant grows in dry, hot regions and has long been used as an herbal medicine for sexual health in various cultures.

But until now, the evidence was mixed and largely anecdotal.

This study set out to clear that up by reviewing and combining the best clinical trials on the subject.

Researchers performed a large review of studies from several scientific databases.

They focused only on randomized controlled trials (the most reliable type of scientific study) to see how effective Tribulus terrestris really is for men with ED.

After carefully reviewing hundreds of research papers, they narrowed their focus to eight high-quality studies that met strict standards.

All of them looked at changes in erectile function using a standard questionnaire called the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF).

This scale comes in two versions: a short form (IIEF-5) and a longer form (IIEF-15), both commonly used by doctors and researchers to measure sexual performance.

The findings were promising:

1. Men taking Tribulus terrestris showed significant improvement on the 5-question erectile function scale, with scores jumping by an average of 4.21 points.

2. On the more detailed 15-question scale, men saw even more dramatic improvements—an average increase of 15.88 points after treatment.

3. Compared to those taking placebo pills, Tribulus terrestris users scored 3.23 points higher on the short scale and 14.44 points higher on the detailed scale.

4. Despite its reputation as a testosterone booster, the supplement didn’t significantly raise testosterone levels, meaning it works through other mechanisms.

5. Safety-wise, men taking Tribulus terrestris experienced no more side effects than those taking placebos.

If you want to support your sexual health naturally, this herb might be worth considering. It’s easily available in powder form in most health food stores.
