This Common Medication Causes ED for MenIf you’re a male over 50, chances are you’ve been, or will be soon, prescribed a specific medication for prostate health.

Beware, because a new study from The Boston University School of Medicine reveals that this drug causes ED and robs you of testosterone.

Finasteride is the most common drug prescribed for enlarged prostate. But it shouldn’t be.

For the study, published in Hormone Molecular Biology and Clinical Investigation, researchers followed 470 men prescribed Finasteride and 230 men prescribed another prostate drug, Tamsulosin, for 45 months.

Gradually, those on Finasteride began to experience erectile dysfunction, which got worse and worse during the 45 months. Their testosterone levels also steeply slid down throughout the study period.

Interestingly, those on Tamsulosin didn’t experience these side effects. That’s not to say this drug is safe, just that it probably has other side effects than ED and a drop in testosterone.

It’s better to treat erectile dysfunction and enlarged prostate naturally.
