Exercising is, according to numerous studies, one of the most effective things to improve arthritis.
Today, I’ll tell you about the best exercise for arthritis. However, although these are best, there is another exercise you absolutely must do in combination with this one or you risk making your condition worse.
As proven in repeated studies, swimming is the best exercise for arthritis. It allows for maximum range of movement with minimum strain on the joints.
Any water activity is actually beneficial for arthritis. Water walking and water aerobics are equally valid as swimming.
But there is one problem with only swimming.
You see, by not putting any strain on the joints and bones, you risk weakening them. Bones need to be worked just as muscles for strengthening, or you may suffer bone fractures.
So, adding light weight lifting and other slightly more strenuous resistance exercises to your water activities is, therefore, essential, wither on land or in the pool.
But swimming and other activities will only ease arthritis pain. To completely cure it, you must tackle the underlying cause of the inflammation leading to arthritis.

Well, so swimming is good for arthritis. Guess I'll have to win the lottery and move near a beach or lake. I don't have a pool and neither does any one I know. Oh well.
