This fruit treats arthritis (delicious)There is currently no medication that can reverse arthritis. And those used come with a long list of side effects.

That’s why we welcome a new study proving amazing effectiveness of one delicious juice to reduce inflammation and swelling in arthritis patients.

A team of Egyptian researchers conducted a study on 35 female rats, each weighing approximately 170 grams. These rats were divided into five groups, with seven rats in each.

One group did not receive any treatment or inducement of arthritis.

The other four groups were induced with arthritis by injecting a substance into the left hind knee joint that leads to symptoms and physiological changes similar to those seen in human arthritis.

After the induction of arthritis, each of the remaining four groups received different treatments:

Two groups were treated with different doses of persimmon juice, low and high-dose.

One group was treated with Diclofenac Sodium, a well-known pharmaceutical used for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

The last group received no treatment.

The experiment lasted for 28 days, during which the effects of the treatments were closely monitored.

This is what they found.

1. All treated groups (persimmon juice and Diclofenac Sodium) showed a significant decrease in paw volume, indicating reduced inflammation and swelling.

2. The treated groups showed a reduction in inflammatory chemicals in their blood.

3. There was a decline in white blood cell count in the treated groups, suggesting that the treatments could reduce the unnecessary overactivity of their immune systems.

4. There was less rheumatoid factor in the blood of the treated rats. Rheumatoid factor is an autoantibody that targets healthy tissue.

5. Malondialdehyde was also lower in the treated rats. This is an indicator of high free radical activity and oxidative stress.

6. There was an increase in the antioxidant enzymes in the treated groups’ joint tissue.

7. Under the microscope, joint tissue samples of the treated rates showed less damage.

This means that persimmon juice can reduce inflammation, reduce oxidative damage, calm down the immune system, and promote the health of arthritic joints.

The scientists attributed the effectiveness of the persimmon juice to the abundance of fiber, polyphenols, and vitamin C in the fruits. If that is true, the fruits might even be healthier, as juice contains less fiber than whole fruits do.

It’s important to remember that this study was conducted on rats, and while the results are promising, further research on humans is necessary to fully understand the potential benefits and any limitations or side effects.
