How Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Causes Chronic Kidney DiseaseNonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is rapidly becoming the most common modern chronic condition. And it often goes undiagnosed.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) cases are also rising steeply.

This shouldn’t be a surprise, as a new study in Biomedicines reveals that NAFLD directly leads to CKD, with its potentially fatal consequences.

The good news is that it’s easy to reverse NAFLD, thereby avoiding CKD altogether.

A research team led by Sapienza University of Rome searched the medical literature and identified the 12 strongest studies on the relationship between NAFLD and CKD. Combined, they had 180,010 study subjects. All of the subjects with NAFLD and kidney disease had been officially diagnosed by their doctors or the researchers.

The most important findings confirmed their suspicions:

1. All but one of the 12 studies found a relationship between the two conditions, with NAFLD sufferers being anywhere from 22% to 100% more likely to have CKD as well.

2. The studies also showed that obesity, high blood pressure, and high uric acid levels increased the likelihood that people with NAFLD would go on to develop CKD.

3. Seven of the studies discovered that the severity of NAFLD coincided with the severity of CKD, with serious cases of the former leading to serious cases of the latter.

4. The risk of CKD was greatest among those with significant liver scarring and liver cell death.

This shows just how important it is to reverse NAFLD immediately, before it causes more serious diseases. Fortunately, it’s easy to do. Thousands of readers have healed their NAFLD using the simple lifestyle changes explained here…

And if you already suffer from CKD, you’ll be happy to know that you can heal it naturally by following the step-by-step directions explained here…
