I am assuming because lifting weights is exercise, that it might also lower levels of blood sugar. Is this correct, Jodi? I can no longer walk long enough to call it exercise, due to back problems with a bone disease, but I sure could lift not so heavy weights! I never thought of that, and my arms really could stand to lose some of that flab! Thanks, for this reminder.
thanks for this wonderful method. I have been suffering from type 2 diabetes but due to my very active life even at this age of 69 years, brisk walk for all the seven days, whole day busy with my professional activities, riding 160 stairs daily, pushps with more light exercises and lifting dumbles have enabled me to do away with dibetes medicianes on the advice of doctor. Plus I have a strict control over my dietes. I bank on whole grains with soya been, indian methi, brown rice, green salad and indian brown pulse i.e. dark chholleh. Doctor has told me that once a diebtic always a diabetic but I must continue with the above regiment strictly.
I want to suggest a method which has proved to be working in my case. My fasting sugar level had crossed 270 few months back, which has now brought down to 137 today. This method is on certain basic principles of impact of sugar levels on our blood vessels. I don't want to publicize this now.
