Can a nation actually have the highest concentrations of deadly diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and high blood pressure and still live longer than other nations?
Yes, but a longer life doesn’t mean a healthier one…at all.
In a report from the United Health Foundation sponsored by the American Public Health Foundation, Americans have been shown to have the most troubling and stubborn rates of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and a handful of other preventable killers.
But they are actually living longer in spite of these diseases. Why? Advances in disease management and technology are making it possible for people to live longer with these diseases, even though they are living sicker.
[adrotate group=”5″]Some of the markers that the group studied in each of the 50 states in order to compare overall “health” included how sedentary the lifestyles are on average, how they rank for binge drinking, rates of obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes, and rates of immunization.
The proliferation of pharmaceutical use in the US has had a mixed effect on the lives of its constituents. While many diseases are improved or at least subdued, the medications carry direct and indirect side effects that cause more illness overall. This is in spite of the fact that they can lengthen life span.
The bottom line is that traditional medications are not design to improve the quality of your life. Their purpose is to keep you alive so that you’ll have to buy more medications.
Natural health methods, on the contrary, are designed to permanently CURE diseases and also improve your overall health and help you live life to the fullest.
Here are some life-improving natural solutions for the most common diseases:

'Man born of woman is short lived and glutted with agitation.' (Job 14v1).
We are not an immortal species; life is a universally, sexuallly transmitted disease. The best we can do is to prolong our lives. And that might not be worthwhile if our quality of life is ruined.
As one woman said to her neighbour over the garden fance: 'The trouble with making all these changes so you live longer is that all those extra years come at the end when you're old.'
She's right; it is during those extra years when we get Alzheimers disease, cancers, and many other distressing and debilitating conditions.
It might be nice to live to be a 100, but not if you have lost the senses that allow you to appreciate and enjoy it.
Today, as we are all painfully aware, everyone is subject to sickness and death. Germs harm millions, often proving fatal. Yet, the human body is so marvelously designed that some wonder why anybody gets sick. Medical doctor Lewis Thomas wrote of the vital role of bacteria and observed that illness comes about “like an accident.” He said: “It may be that the defense mechanisms of affected patients are flawed in some special way.”.
Indeed, those with strong immune systems rarely, if ever, suffer from bacterial infection. Nonetheless, eventually people succumb to old age and death. The Bible says that sin inherited from the originally perfect first human, Adam, is the flaw responsible for sickness and death. “Through one man,” the Bible explains, “sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.”—Romans 5:12.
God, however, sent his Son to earth to provide his perfect life as a ransom to release humans from the effects of sin. (Matthew 20:28) The Bible explains: “The wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23; 1 John 5:11) Under the rule of God’s Kingdom, the healing effects of Christ’s ransom sacrifice will be realized. Then all germs, even those that now cause disease, will do no harm to anyone.

Hey! You must be my spiritual sister! Wonderful explanation of the truth!
Great article! First of all, I had the impression that it was about morbidity of life style related diseases and quality of life associated with allopathic responses to disease. Religion to me is a different ball game…
As non American residing in Asia for 20 years, I am of the opinion that "you are what you eat". Stop treating symptoms, fully integrate holistic life styles into health promotion and support individuals in gaining control over their own health and well being rather then being dependent of healths systems that are not sustainable/affordable. I believe there are plenty of good examples in the USA.
Have a nice day! TS, Thailand
Well said Ton. Religion has nothing to do with the way people fill their bodies with manufactured food and chemicals. The sooner people start to look “inside” for the answers to their health problems, the sooner there will be relief to the health system $$$ and maybe there will be more money spent on research.
