No wonder Westerners are dropping dead left and right from things like type 2 diabetes, heart attack and stroke.
Numbers indicate that 90% of Americans have traces of a chemical that the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has for years claimed is completely safe. They base its ‘safety’ on two studies conducted by the companies in chemical industries.
That’s despite the fact that hundreds of studies all over the world have linked this chemical to everything from cancer and anxiety to ED. Only recently has the FDA raised any concerns, but no ban is yet in sight.
Since this chemical is all over and there is no label requirement, you’re extremely vulnerable to it. That’s why in today’s feature article I’m going to tell you more about this chemical and how you can avoid it.
Lets begin with a study example. British researchers followed 1600 individuals for ten years. Subjects had no sign of heart problems at the beginning of the study. However, at the end of the study, those who had higher levels of this chemical had significantly higher risk of developing heart disease.
The chemical is called Bisphenol A (or BPA) and you may have heard about the debate of its use in food packaging.
The usage is, however, nowhere close to being limited to food. Because the chemical is extremely effective in the hardening process of plastic, it can be found almost anywhere plastic is found. It’s in everything from dental sealants to store receipts and even money.
So completely avoiding BPA is almost impossible. That’s why it’s so import to focus strongly on the areas where you can avoid this deadly chemical. There is no labeling requirement for BPA. So just begin assuming that any food stored in plastic includes BPA unless it’s clearly marked “BPA-free.”
Now why is BPA so dangerous, you may ask?
You see, BPA acts similar to many human hormones; most closely to the hormone estrogen.
This is, of course, even more serious for men than women since a high level of estrogen has been linked to both men’s abnormal breast mass and sexual dysfunctions, such as erectile dysfunction.
But imbalance in estrogen hormones is dangerous to both sexes and can contribute to high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, worsened menopause symptoms and many other health problems.
Not all manufacturers mark their packaging “BPA-free” even if it is. Some manufactures have only part of their line BPA-free. Usually, however, if you visit the manufacture’s website, you’ll find some reference to BPA. If you don’t find it, avoid that product.
Authorities all over the world are realizing the danger of BPA. Therefore, I would not be surprised if soon, manufacturers will be required to label their products if they INCLUDE BPA. That will make the task of avoiding it much easier.

The latent blindness of our legislators is renown.
Why do they never like to admit they ‘got it wrong’ even if people have bad experiences and anecdotally this stuff shows up as far from benign?
The amount of people drinking from plastic mineral bottles is now huge and, far from keeping them fit and well, is quite likely building troubles for their future.
[PS: I know the answer to the above is that no one in ‘charge’ likes to take the blame for previous tardiness and risk losing a public service pension etc by even mentioning these topics. The public are too distracted by surviving to get a real grip on what they vote for, or not- as the case may be.]
The internet is slowly going flush the rubbish out of our lives.
What age can we normally expect erecttile dysfunction? My husband is 86 and still functions but not so often.. no
If BPA is mainly stored in the form of plastic, how is it possible to avoid it since a major amount of all stored or canned food commodities we buy from the grocery store are contained in plastic. Secondly, plastic covered storage dishes used in most homes would seem to be a main source for transfering BPS, so it would seem as these dishes with their seal tight covers are used by everyone one for storing left-over food from the dinner table in the refrigerator. these same dishes are frequently used for warming up these left-over in the micro-wave which I would think would heightened any BPA to seep into food contained inside…consider every bottle of water we consumed several times daily is stored in plastic. All of this is most interesting from the point that I had a colleague several years ago tell me not to warm anything in the micro-wave in plastic dished because he had read, food stored and warmed in plastic dished was connected to some forms of cancer. All of this is alarming, can we as consumers do anything in the way of complaining to the FDA to get their attention, which brings to mind this question: what good is the FDA, if it does not really look out for the well fare of others?
Please stop drinking water from plastic bottles!
What about juice bottles and other drinks in plastic bottles?
The same problem ! There is a migration between the plastic and the beverage.
Plastic vs glass? Processed food vs Organic? Even organic stuff is often put in plastic!
the only thing i can find as positive is that hopefully, the very people who aren’t monitoring this(legislature, FDA,etc)are using this “poison” the same as we are and will reap the destruction the same as all others. Not that positive, right.
HEAD TO THE HILLS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS!
Maybe the picture should havebeen of a sheep instead of a camel?
I can taste the chemical in plastic water bottles. I stopped drinking bottled water because of that taste and finding out it was a toxic chemical I was tasting. I wish glass bottled water was more available.
I remember the day our favourite soft drinks and other storage containers were made of GLASS … The plastics were not used at all and the main concern back then was the fact that Glass broke when you dropped it … that was why they looked for almost unbreakable plastic to replace the glass bottles. Perhaps we have to look at the new evidence as a challenge to our lifestyle. Just get a few Glass bottles and transfer the food immediately into them might be a temporary solution to the heavy use of toxic Plastic containers.
I have seen recently an article on the massive amounts of plastic debris in the oceans.
It doesn’t biodegrade but in sunlight gets broken down into smaller and smaller particles.
So small now they are taken up in plankton. Thus they now contaminate the entire oceanic food chain.
That means all seafood is now contaminated.
While BPA was not mentioned specifically what you write makes it likely all seafood will have some BPA present.
is there a cure for ED for people with type 2 diabetes.

Thanks for this unexpected article. I am linking this to the fact that almost all babies and incontinent adults use plastic disposable diapers.
I can see that this might apply to future health of babies and seniors. Both groups are more apt to have reactions. I would like to know if any research has been addressed to this issue for these age groups?
Because of land-fill and diapers not disposing, I am switching to cloth diapers for mother. It is also more economical and saves money and gas required if I bought the plastic lined disposable diapers. Glad I was doing this bafore I read the article!
These days everytype of food inc.fruits and veg.are packed in plastic.
