Improving bone marrow density in Osteoporosis is difficult. Some say impossible.
A new study says EASY.
How?
One of the oldest (all-natural) methods in the book: Stab it
The study explored whether acupuncture could enhance bone health for those with osteopenia, a precursor to osteoporosis.
It involved 226 participants, all taking calcium and vitamin D3 supplements.
Half of them also received acupuncture treatments over six months. And the results were promising.
Findings:
-
1. Better Balance: The acupuncture group scored higher on the Berg Balance Scale at three and six months, indicating improved stability.
2. Increased Bone Density: Participants in the acupuncture group saw gains in bone mineral density in critical areas like the femoral neck and hip joint.
3. Stronger Lower Limbs: The acupuncture group performed better in a sit-to-stand test, showing enhanced lower limb strength.
4. Slower Bone Loss: Blood tests showed lower markers associated with bone breakdown, suggesting acupuncture may slow bone loss.
While acupuncture doesn’t replace calcium and vitamin D, it may complement them by improving balance, strength and potentially slowing bone loss.
This also proves we can improve, even reverse, Osteoporosis using natural methods. Nothing new. Thousands of readers have done it. They used simple diet and lifestyle changes explained here…
