Why is ED Is On the Rise, and What to Do About It?If you’re suffering ED, you’re not alone. According to a report prepared by the US Armed Service Heath Surveillance Center, frequency of ED has doubled in the last 10 years.

But why are twice as many men suffering ED today than 10 years ago. Any other disease with such a rapid growth would be considered a dangerous plague.

Traditionally, there are many factors that are considered to cause erectile dysfunction (ED). The primary ones are increase in age, obesity, smoking habits, chronic health conditions, cardiovascular disease, drug abuse, and mental health disorders.

But none of those factors explain the rapid growth of new cases in the report. During the entire period of surveillance, which lasted for 10 years, the incidence of ED more than doubled from 5.8 cases per 1,000 service men in 2004 to 12.8 cases per 1,000 service men in 2013.

The incidence of ED was highest in those over 60 years of age and lowest in those under 30. But the sharpest rise of the curve happened around the age 40. That’s when most men seem to begin developing ED.

Erectile dysfunction was also four times higher among men who were widowed, divorced or separated than those who were married or in long-lasting relationships.

So what is the cause for this spike in erectile dysfunction?

There are two major causes of ED:

1) Physical. There is not enough blood circulation to the penis
2) Emotional – stress, anxiety, worries etc.

Almost all men suffering long-lasting erectile dysfunction have a little bit of both. One can even cause the other. For example, if you experience one episode of ED due to a little less blood flow that day, this can cause performance anxiety that will make the problem repeat itself and eventually become chronic.

The major physical cause is poor cardiovascular heath. High blood pressure and plaque buildup in the arteries block blood flow to the genitals just as they block blood flow in the heart.

Even more importantly, however, is the stressful world we live in. We’re bombarded by four types of stress: a) physical stress (diseases, bad diet, pollution etc), mental stress (the internet, more complex challenges at work etc), emotional stress (stressful boss, divorces, etc), sensory stress (street traffic, TV etc). Many of those stress factors didn’t exist 30 – 40 years ago. And they’ve doubled in the last 10 years. Just as new cases of ED have doubled.

Therefore, the solution has to be twofold. You must increase the blood flow to the genitals as well as relieve stress from your body and mind.

For many years I’ve been teaching men simple exercises that tackle both issues and therefore permanently heal ED. These exercises have worked for thousands of men of all ages and ethnicities.

Plus they’re so simple and easy, nobody has to know you’re working them. Not even your partner.
