This salt heals GoutAfter taking a specific type of salt, several subjects stopped all gout medications and eliminated their symptoms.

This was in a study in Rheumatology.

People with gout often have more acidic urine than normal, making it harder for their bodies to eliminate uric acid.

This leads to painful crystal deposits in the joints.

Researchers wondered: Could balancing urine pH help?

To find out, they studied 385 men with gout and acidic urine.

While all participants were already on a standard gout medication, the researchers divided them into two groups:

• One group took a citrate mixture to alkalize their urine.
• The other group stayed on medication alone.

After 12 weeks, the results were remarkable:

• Urine pH levels increased, showing the therapy was working.

• Less medication was needed to control uric acid levels — some even stopped taking it.

• Fewer painful gout flare-ups and lower pain scores.

• Better kidney health, with lower urine albumin-to-creatinine ratios.

• Improved cholesterol levels, including lower triglycerides and higher HDL (good cholesterol).

This suggests that urine alkalization therapy could be a game-changer for gout sufferers.

While the citrate mixture used in the study was likely concentrated, natural citrate-salts like potassium citrate and sodium citrate should provide similar benefits.

The problem with this solution, however, is that it didn’t help everyone and, more importantly, doesn’t tackle the underlying cause of gout.

You can actually eliminate the underlying cause of gout and, therefore rid yourself of it for good using the simple diet and lifestyle adjustments explained here…
