People who ate more cheese had:

● A 28% lower risk of developing sleep apnea.

● Improved 23 different health biomarkers linked to better metabolism and circulation.

● Positive changes in 6 key health markers tied to sleep apnea, including blood pressure, testosterone levels, liver enzymes, and kidney function.

Why?

Cheese is loaded with proteins, bioactive compounds, and healthy fats that may support breathing and metabolism.

Even though it’s high in fat (which could be a risk for obesity-related sleep apnea), its health benefits seem to outweigh the downsides.

The study didn’t specify which cheeses work best or how much to eat.

But in moderation, it might just help — especially if you stick to healthier cheeses like Swiss, feta, or Parmesan.
