A new study executed at the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research gives great hope for people suffering Fibromyalgia.
For the first time ever, every single subject of a Fibromyalgia study either drastically improved or were completely cured.
What’s more, this leads to a cure you can easily do at home.
In the study, 48 women with fibromyalgia were exposed to close to pure oxygen at two times the atmospheric pressure in a Hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Each treatment took 90 minutes.
At the end of the treatment, everyone’s pain either drastically reduced or was completely eliminated.
Even weeks after the treatment, most women still benefited.
But why does this work?
Let’s take a closer look at another study published in PubMed.
Researchers used a Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) technique to measure blood flow, oxygen levels, and oxygen intake by the muscles during exercise for fibromyalgia patients.
When healthy people workout, increased blood flow floods the muscles to deliver oxygen and to get rid of toxic by products.
But the study revealed that although fibromyalgia patients do receive extra blood flow to the muscles, for some reason the muscles do not take up the oxygen.
So just increasing blood flow is not enough. This is where hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) comes in.
In a 1.5 atmosphere chamber, while breathing close to pure oxygen, the amount of oxygen in the blood is 10 times greater than normal.
This is enough to force oxygen into the brain and muscles, and heal fibromyalgia.
Ironically, this study proves something I’ve been preaching for years: that fibromyalgia is the result of too little oxygen in the blood.
And the real solution for this is to breathe more effectively, bringing dramatically more oxygen into your lungs and blood stream.
Remember that in the above study, people only received 90 minutes of intense treatment. How about if you did a short session of specific, focused breathing every day?
How about if you trained your lungs to take in more oxygen every minute, day and night?
