Rheumatologists and people who suffer from fibromyalgia will tell you that one of the key triggers or exacerbating stimulus is stress, anger, and negative emotion in general.
So it would follow that finding a way to relax effectively would be the best solution, especially if you are trying to stay away from prescription medications that carry a host of dangerous side effects.
One unhealthy habit, though, is being touted as possibly helpful in reducing the flare ups, and also the severity of fibromyalgia attacks. But is it a good idea?
Suffering from a chronic pain condition is debilitating. Making it worse is that the condition itself is known to cause depression, fatigue, and other symptoms. But being unable to manage it can take its toll as well, fueling the cycle of pain and fatigue.
No one understands fully what is at the heart of fibromyalgia, but mounting evidence is pointing more and more to damaging inflammation, much like the effect you’d see in those who have arthritis and diabetes.
So what do some people look to when trying to curb negative, draining emotions while at the same time trying to beat back inflammation? Why red wine, of course.
Doctors and scientists have known for years that small amounts of red wine regularly can have positive effects on health. The reservatrol and other antioxidants are hard to contest.
And the depressive, sedating effect of the alcohol is one that fibromyalgia sufferers swear by to help relax.
The problem, though, is that alcohol is habit-forming. It also has an effect on the kidneys and liver, which can trigger the very fibromyalgia flare-ups that people try to prevent.
The other problem is that if you are on any medications, alcohol in any form can be very destructive and unsafe.
However, one can get some of the antioxidant benefit from non-alcoholic wine. But the problem of all that unnecessary sugar is still persistent. High levels of sugar, as with what you’d find in grape juice or non-alcoholic wines can contribute to inflammation, nullifying the antioxidant effect.

Fibromyalgia is caused by the toxins made by yeast and fungi called mycotoxins. These toxins irritate tissue causing inflammation and pain. Voila-fibromyalgia. The way to heal fibromyalgia is to stop feeding the yeast/fungal overgrowths with anti-fungal supplements like oregano oil, caprylic acid, grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf extract, monolaurin, garlic, etc.and by going on the yeast-free diet. This is outlined in detail in Recaging the Beast at Amazon! Works every time…
Ya, have had Fibro for over 30 yrs.at least that’s what the Drs.say.So if all of this is correct. How come never heard of you, or your Stupid conclusion about yeast? People just seem to make up things as they go. Especially without any credibility.
