Testosterone drugs have been hyped lately as the magical solution to low energy, fatigue, low libido, and ED in men. But they come at a heavy price that your doctor may not know/tell you about.
Thousands of men have been filing liability lawsuits against testosterone drug makers because of their products’ deadly side effects. Even the FDA has jumped on the bandwagon.
But that doesn’t mean you have to live with low testosterone. Because you can raise your testosterone naturally, without any side effects.
In a recent study published in Pharmacotherapy: The Journal of Human Pharmacology and Drug Therapy, researchers used data from several other reliable studies, including almost one million men between the age of 40 and 80. In the study period, there were over 30,000 cases of heart attack.
After analyzing the data in details, the researchers found significant a rise in heart attack cases among men who began testosterone therapy.
The interesting part was that all types of medical testosterone therapies seemed to be as dangerous. There was no difference between gels, patches, injections or other methods.
Most doctors and pharmaceutical companies pushing these therapies will want to convince you they are completely safe. But even the FDA has officially warned against using this type of therapy as it causes blood clots that lead to heart attack, stroke, and numerous other diseases.
So what is a man to do when his testosterone level goes down?
1) Pump weights (or split wood). Repeated studies have shown that heavy, explosive movements boost testosterone production more than any other form of exercise, whereas cardio can lower your testosterone level. As we get older, we tend to lose muscle mass. This is one reason testosterone goes down. Muscles are also what helps burn fat, which is important to keep testosterone optimized.
2) Get rid of excess fat. Body fat drains testosterone, especially if you’re obese. The better shape you’re in, the more likely your testosterone level is in good shape.
3) Eat healthily and avoid junk. Sugar, trans fat and highly processed food all work to lower your testosterone level. Consume more fresh vegetables and unprocessed food, and watch your testosterone skyrocket.
If you follow these three guidelines, you won’t need dangerous drugs to bring your testosterone to an optimal level. But it does take a little time, so please be patient.
If, however, you want an easier way to bring your testosterone level up naturally, here is the quickest, most effective method I know to get testosterone to an optimal level…
Or if you’re looking to improve erection, here are simple exercises that both heal erectile dysfunction and boost testosterone level…
very well presented
This article is very misleading as are a lot of the discussion items around this therapy. First, the is no conclusive evidence in the research that testosterone therapy causes heart disease or increased heart attack risk. There is significant research that demonstrates that if you have heart disease testosterone will accelerate the disease, same with some cancers…but, if you don’t have a heart problems when you start your therapy the evidence says that your risk for heart disease significantly decreases. The problem isn’t the treatment, the problem is physicians who don’t do the appropriate work to find out if it is safe to prescribe, rather, look at one number and write a prescription. Most of what is reported in the news as research is not research. Most of it comes from a bias or an opinion. How about we take the drug companies out of the “research” reporting business and turn it over to persons who have been trained in how to read and interpret research.
Good comment Norm.
I’m not sure how this article is affected by DrugCo’s/Pharma -as they are very pro holistic methods at Blue heron. I’ve been around for quite some time with them.
I do take testosterone gel and feel strongly that the best way forward is to stop & start every few months and eventually get off it, as all meds demand a price paid in the end. The plus is muscle and bone support.
So , whilst your response is valid up to a point, I think it’s not true that Blue heron are biased FOR the drug suppliers.
There’s no proof for that, either in your post!
