You’ve been told that this fat raises blood pressure, causes heart attack and stroke, and leads to obesity and type 2 diabetes.
But a new study from Ohio State University completely busts this myth. In fact, doubling or even tripling daily intake of this fat did nothing to increase the risk of any disease.
But there was another ingredient discovered, something even more common than this fat that did the exact thing. You absolutely must cut down on this non-fatty ingredient if you want to stay healthy.
In this small but thorough study, 16 people were fed the exact same food for 18 weeks. The amount of protein and overall calories were kept the same, but the balance between carbs and saturated fat was strategically changed throughout the study period.
What they discovered was that when study subjects ate more saturated fat but fewer carbohydrates, the fatty acid level in their blood actually went down. When, on the other hand, they ate more carbohydrates and less saturated fat, the blood’s fatty acid level went up.
The fatty acid level in blood is a serious risk factor for several serious diseases such as heart attack, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. It’s an indicator for raised blood cholesterol levels as well as how much will be stored as body fat.
In short, what this study revealed, is that fat in food is not necessarily transferred into blood fat or body fat. Diets high in carbohydrates, on the other hand, transfer much more directly into blood and body fat.
So forget about the low-fat propaganda and rather focus on cutting down on carbs, especially sugar.
We’ve been fed with the lie “you are what you eat,” which should rather be “you are what your digestion system transfers what you eat, into.” It’s a little more complicated but closer to the truth.
This is, of course, nothing new to those of us who have been fighting for natural health awareness for decades.
When I woke up with my arterial arteries over 90% clogged and was facing a dangerous heart surgery, I had to go on a quest to bust all the myths that the traditional medical system wanted to feed me.
The results were clean, unclogged arteries and optimized blood fat levels within a month. Here are the exact steps I took to reach this goal…
But if you’re mainly focused on lowering your blood pressure, here is the easiest, most effective natural method to do so…
It’s an interesting discovery and makes sense. Of course it doesn’t mean that we should increase the fat consumption because it does not make you fat directly. We should simply eat only healthy fats ( made from plants) and stay away from added sugar and carbs as much as we can.
The fat fanatic hopefully will be over soon. Coconut oil for example is almost all Saturated fat and it has been proven to improve almost all diseases.
A good information shall help finding food for intake easy. The intake of healthy plant fats will make you healthier.
There are very few plant fats (oils) that are not polyunsaturated. Theses fats are high in omega 6 and low in omega 3 fatty acids, so should be avoided like other poisons such as sugar, HFCS, etc. In vegetables, you have no idea which are GMO and which are not. I know corn and canola are both predominately GMO crops, but so are many others. Maybe the Europeans have it right; GMO crops are not allowed in European soils. If you look at the European diet, you will find it is more balanced with natural foods than the north American diet. Maybe this is a good place to start a new study.
I want to know what food will be good for someone like me who had the blood pressure, reading always 130/99. at my age of 46 years old, should l a void almost all fat food please l need your help, l am now leaving on medication.
