Another drug used for treating arthritis, joint pain, and other maladies has been pulled from the shelves recently, with authorities citing undeclared ingredients as the reason behind the action.
A drug produced by a pharmaceutical company called Samantha Lynn, Inc. is voluntarily pulling its arthritis tablets called Rheumofan Plus from shelves.
It contains three ingredients known to cause dangerous anaphylaxis reactions and hypersensitivity that in other medications has been proven to be life-threatening.
While no actual cases of adverse events have been recorded yet, the medicine has been pulled from shelves and consumers who have purchased it are being notified of the recall.
The ingredients, of which methocarbamol included, have been shown to cause dizziness, blurred vision, blue urine, and allergic reactions.
Dextramethazone has been shown to be responsible for increased risk of infection and preterm birth. And diclofenac, the third offending ingredient, has been shown to increase the risk of heart attack and stroke by more than 40%.
The phrase “undeclared ingredients” is used when a drug is released to market and later found through independent testing and the efforts of watchdog groups to reveal dangerous and potentially life-threatening ingredients.
This really makes you wonder how safe other drugs might be in a similar class of the market that have not be discovered by watchdog groups; or even worse, their researchers hushed by big pharma.
Eliminate your arthritis in this 21-day plan without drugs…
All you get from the ruling powers, is how to 'treat' the plethora of diseases that now plague mankind, not how to prevent. It is blatantly obvious that the 'modern' 'civilized' way of life is 99% percent to blame for our ailments. DIET is the killer, propagated by big brother corporations who now rule this planet.
A Dr. Diamond Jenness, in his book the 'Copper Eskimo,' said of the Innuit of the arctic, "Amongst adults, death was nearly always due to old age or the perils that are inseprable from life in the Arctic." He found that they had robust health to the end of their days. The difference he found was that the eskimo lived on unprocessed natural foods, the children were fed from the breast, he went on further to say, "I don't suppose that one in a thousand of them has ever seen a tin of salmon, or a chocolate bar, sugar just did not play a part in their way of life, 'until civilization' reached them, and then their health problems began.
We have become indoctrinated by the forces of greed into eating by one way or another, food that is dessicated, chemicalised, processes of heating, freezing and thawing, by oxidation and decomposition, by milling and polishing, the elimination of the natural and substitution of the artificial. Pastuerization, homogenization. man bastardises the foods he eats. The end result is a "dead fuel mass" of the most unnatural foods, which has devastating effects on the body.
I repeat once again the finest book you will ever read on nutrition and health is by a Barry Groves, called "Trick and Treat." He has spent over 50 years of his life researching the past dietary history of man from the arctic to the tropics. It is a revelation.
I keep my arthritis under control with baking soda, no synthetic drugs for me!
Care to share your control with baking soda?
When? how much? I'm tired of this teaser BH articles. No real research mention by name.
WOW! I have taken diclofenac for years. Just last month, my doctor refused to write a prescription for it, citing kidney function numbers as the reason; and he does not want to be responsible for me taking it. My rumatologist tries to get me to take a prescription of it from her; well, i have not seen her in a long time; she might not be so eager for me to have it now. Her other prescriptions caused severe hypertensive reactions; I just can’t take her prescriptions. I know they are standard for severe bone problems like mine; but her meds can kill me 5 different ways; and cannot be stopped once the reaction begins; so, I “decline”. I am sure no doctor wants to see me, now. This should not have been a shocker to me, Shelley, but it was. georgia ps. Tell me what you know about using LDN for RA and similar diseases. I want to try LDN. (low-dose naltrexone) I am now using only excedrin and ultram and tylenol 3 occasionally (and will be unable to use ultram or tylenol 3 with naltrexone)
Been taking it for almost a year now. Had no side effects. If it did.
anything, it made my arthritis symptoms "disappear". And I was really in agony before.
What and how does baking soda help I have taken a lot of the drugs and all they do is make me sick. If this works for you please share it with the rest of us.
