Spending time with others spurns more body fat and weight loss than dieting alone, a study by Ohio State University researchers found.
In a study of overweight mice, scientists found that mice that socialized with other mice boosted levels of so-called “brown fat”—a class of fat that burns significantly more calories than typical body fat.
Socializing increases your body’s production of a substance known as Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor, which helps build new brain tissue. A side effect of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor is more calorie-torching brown fat, the researchers note.

This is SO untrue, Chris…
Ha ha ha… brown fat science
and all… come on…
Let’s try a real experiment..
Go hang out with your friends with human minds…
the kind that crave all kinds of things like wings and things…
THEN see if you can push the good tasting food
of influence and a good time away…
You’ve got to know that mice may eat only for necessity,
but in contrast, people in a social situation is VERY fattening.
Write that article and you’ll get some ears thinking your way.
Or better yet, survey your readers and see what they say.
I think you’ll be very surprised
