ED is largely preventable and reversible, says a new study published in the Medical Journal of Australia recently.
Participants from all over the nation were studied to pinpoint the most severe risk factors for developing Erectile Dysfunction, and what researchers found was both frustrating and hopeful at the same time.
The one factor we can’t do anything about is, of course, age. The study revealed 11% increased odds of developing ED for every year after age 45. Men over 75 were at 86% risk of experiencing moderate or severe ED.
That doesn’t mean you need to throw in the towel. Several lifestyle factors had a much higher connection to ED than age did. And that’s something we can all tackle. Lets look at some:
1) Being overweight – Obese men were three times more likely and slightly overweight men were twice as likely to suffer moderate or severe ED than men of healthy weight. This means that losing weight will pay off in the bedroom for sure.
If you’re tired of diets and workouts that don’t help for losing weight, check out this easy breezy approach that doesn’t require any diet, workout, pills or supplements to lose weight…
2) Smoking – as if we needed another reason to stop, men who smoked were at 86% higher risk of ED than non-smokers. Compared to that, ex-smokers had only a 25% increased risk. This shows it’s never to late to quit.
3) Alcohol consumption – no, we’re not asking you to stop completely. But men who consumed alcohol moderately (no binge drinking, for example) were at drastic reduction of ED compared to heavier drinkers.
The bottom line is that developing ED is far from being unavoidable as we age. In fact, living a healthy lifestyle will almost guarantee a healthy, happy life in the sack.

From my experience, if you want you have a healthy life in a bedroom area -exercise regularly. It doesn’t have to be heavy workouts, just a light jog or a hike.
I am approaching my mid 70-ies and I can proudly say that it didn’t slow me down to much …
Of course, I don’t smoke and don’t use alcohol that much and my daily hikes keeps my weight healthy.
A friend of mind used to suffer from ED yet he was neither overweight nor using alcohol and smoking. but he refused to give up and instead started exercise particularly playing football twice a week and he attended other other regular physical exercise…
guess what happen! he become the champion of the bed and earned a more respect from his madam than before.
I took the same advice as my friend and it worked well for me too. hence I recommend that we all keep regular exercise even view minutes and you will notice the difference soon enough.
