If you’ve been diagnosed with pre-diabetes, are concerned about developing diabetes or have full blown type 2 diabetes, the first thing you’re going to be told is that diet change is everything (or an overload of medications).

However, the Harvard School of Public Health recently discovered another method that drops type 2 diabetes risk more than 50%. What’s more, this method requires NO medications and NO diet changes.

A recent study out of Harvard School of Public Health has seemingly proven once and for all that behavior has more to do with the risk of developing type 2 diabetes than genetic predisposition.

Simply lifting weights a few times per week can actually cut the risk of developing the disease by more than 30%.

What the researchers uncovered that was even more amazing is that when lifting weights was combined with some form of aerobic activity, the risk reduction was more than 50%.

When considering whether to break down and start taking medications to ward off the damaging effects of type 2 diabetes, which typically always drag along dangerous side effects, it is easy to see why people would need to strongly consider lifestyle changes first.

Especially considering how inexpensive it can be to simply start exercising a little, just a few times per week.
