Insulin resistance has been traced back to a key protein, cites breakthrough research from scientists at the Gladstone Institute.
Investigating researchers were able to identify a key protein that is very active in the regulation of glucose in the body.
Using mice that lacked the gene for producing a protein called the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), they were able to compare the metabolism and the uptake of glucose into the cells of normal mice to those of the mice without the receptors.
What they found was that this receptor is found in fat and muscle tissue and is responsible for many functions in each type of tissue. Glucose receptors are found in fat, muscle, liver and brain, and the p75NTR mice had better insulin sensitivity than their lacking counterparts.
Studies are still being conducted based upon this research, but it is believed that someday less invasive drug therapies may be the result of the findings.
There is however a method to cure type-2-diabetes naturally, without side effects. Learn more here…
Diabetes is the result of overgrowths of fungi and their mycotoxins (fungal poisons) impairing the functions of the pancreas, insulin and receptors. Yeast-free diet and anti-fungals (oil of oregano, olive leaf extract, caprylic acid, etc.) will kill fungal overgrowths and help restore the pancreas. Over time, diabetes will fade away. Do you know how diabetes is produced in lab rats? They are injected with FUNGI. Voila! Diabetes. See Recaging the Beast at Amazon.
Less invasive, more unnatural drug therapy..some day. My belief and experience is, my body metabolizes everything better as long as I don't have toxins in the way. They come in our regular foods, dairy, meat, and vegetables and fruits included. That's why I go organic, and that's why diabetes is not or won't be a problem for me.I would love to see that more looked into. Our bodies were not meant for unnatural drugs of any kind. imo
I am just wondering how devoted are the authorities concern in their studies and development of a particular drug that can eventually cure type2 diabetes. Maintenance drugs for diabetes rake in billion of dollars for the giant Pharmaceutical Companies and I doubt it very much if they will be happy to welcome such development that could kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. I have the uncanny feeling this is very reason why research and development of a particular drug progress at a very slow pace.
I have a feeling you're right . 🙂 I like free capitalist money..just not at the expense of harming people..good post.
well said Patti. Goiod health infinitely prolonged is a fantasy, but the pollution of our food, water and air for money's sake is clinical insanity.
The top 1% will rule, have about12% in the military to protect them. the other 92% will be eating shit sandwiches.
THANKS, FOR GOOD NEW, CONTINUE WITH MORE NEW.
Very much interesting to hear a news like this. So far Diabetics was considered as a non curable disease. These anti fungi substances can be produced for selling as a drug and made available to humanity to make a healthy living. Thank you for the team of scientists. WISH THEM GOOD LUCK!
I totally agree with your comments. The Pharmacuetical companies have too much money invested in perpetuating the drug merry go round.
They are building and financing medical schools, handing out scholarships to trainee doctors buying loyalties from doctors and the government.Very few people realise that these evil drugs kill more people than they cure. There will never be a cure for any disease because that would kill the cash cow
Pity, we are their captive victims who have to religiously subscribes to their slow killing maintenance drugs while falsely waiting for the wonder drug claim to cure our illnesses…
How about the fact that diabetic is also genetically inherited, by some individual, however, the majority of people get it due to their life style? It could be that the present or lack of this protein (gene) p75NRT is the reason to the disease to people who inherit the sickness??
It was interesting to find out that inflammation is now seen as a cause of diabetes.
