Having a laugh or listening to your favorite band lowers blood pressure about as well as most prescription drugs, a Japanese research team discovered.
In this study, a group of older adults with high blood pressure were asked to visit a laboratory twice per month. Once there, the volunteers heard jokes , listed to music, and relaxed.
After the course of the 2-month period, subjects lowered their blood pressure by 6 point on average. The scientists note that this benefit is similar to losing 10 lbs. of excess body weight or decreasing sodium intake.
Our blood pressure program uses somewhat similar tactics – except it only takes 9 minutes/day. Check it out here…
I think this is true.
a merry heart does good like medicine..the Bible says so!
Now this is encouraging.
No better medicine on earth then a good laugh. To many people don't use laughter. To much moaning and groaning is their theory.

I think it`s good news.
Having a good laugh is always healthy plus a good hug will make your day. Some years ago the newspaper came out with a wonderful artical that the Board of Health in running tests determined that hugging is very good for your health.Think about it & hug someone, your spouse, children, parents, friends.pets & even yourself close your eyes use your imagination & wrap your arms around yourself. Everyone can always use a good hug.
I'd much rather laugh,it's alot more fun.
I think it is true, I feel good after a hug from the love ones. Even when you are very angry or dissapointed with something, a hug works wonder and all this ill feelings just melt away.
Loved these suggestions. New to me! Any more?
I remember the song, “I Love to Laugh!” from “Mary Poppins”. It always makes me feel better.
