The most recent complaint of side effects, in addition to the increased risk of type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, and muscle pain, which were already well-established, is memory loss.<\/p>\n
While the memory loss is only documented in people over the age of 50, it doesn\u2019t seem to be associated with any one age group beyond that more than another.<\/p>\n
It does, however, go away after discontinuing the statin.<\/p>\n
