After investigating the link between blood Teflon levels \u2013a compound known as perfluorooctanoate\u2014the researchers found a 40 percent increased risk of arthritis in those with the highest perfluorooctanoate levels.<\/p>\n<p>The scientists aren\u2019t sure how Teflon impacts joint health but the scientists think that Teflon interacts with your body\u2019s natural inflammatory pathways.
