{"id":30804,"date":"2025-07-04T13:30:32","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T17:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/?p=30804"},"modified":"2025-07-03T01:34:58","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T05:34:58","slug":"this-ancient-plant-eliminates-ed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/2025\/07\/04\/this-ancient-plant-eliminates-ed\/","title":{"rendered":"This ancient plant eliminates ED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/ED-435878936.jpg\" alt=\"This ancient plant eliminates ED\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9399\" \/>The search for natural remedies for ED has intensified as more men seek alternatives to prescription drugs.<\/p>\n<p>A recent study published in the <em>International Journal of Impotence Research<\/em> suggests a possible answer: a spiky plant called <em>Tribulus terrestris<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This plant grows in dry, hot regions and has long been used as an herbal medicine for sexual health in various cultures.<\/p>\n<p>But until now, the evidence was mixed and largely anecdotal.<\/p>\n<p>This study set out to clear that up by reviewing and combining the best clinical trials on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers performed a large review of studies from several scientific databases.<\/p>\n<p>They focused only on randomized controlled trials (the most reliable type of scientific study) to see how effective <em>Tribulus terrestris<\/em> really is for men with ED.<\/p>\n<p>After carefully reviewing hundreds of research papers, they narrowed their focus to eight high-quality studies that met strict standards.<\/p>\n<p>All of them looked at changes in erectile function using a standard questionnaire called the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF).<\/p>\n<p>This scale comes in two versions: a short form (IIEF-5) and a longer form (IIEF-15), both commonly used by doctors and researchers to measure sexual performance.<\/p>\n<p><em>The findings were promising:<\/em><\/p>\n<dl>\n<dd>\n1.\tMen taking <em>Tribulus terrestris<\/em> showed significant improvement on the 5-question erectile function scale, with scores jumping by an average of 4.21 points.<\/p>\n<p>2.\tOn the more detailed 15-question scale, men saw even more dramatic improvements\u2014an average increase of 15.88 points after treatment.<\/p>\n<p>3.\tCompared to those taking placebo pills, <em>Tribulus terrestris<\/em> users scored 3.23 points higher on the short scale and 14.44 points higher on the detailed scale.<\/p>\n<p>4.\tDespite its reputation as a testosterone booster, the supplement didn\u2019t significantly raise testosterone levels, meaning it works through other mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>5.\tSafety-wise, men taking <em>Tribulus terrestris<\/em> experienced no more side effects than those taking placebos.\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<p>If you want to support your sexual health naturally, this herb might be worth considering.
