Reduced NAFLD Risk: Those who consumed the most flavonoids were 19% less likely to develop NAFLD.<\/p>\n<p>2. Specific Food Benefits: Regular apple eaters saw a 22% reduction in risk, while tea drinkers enjoyed a 14% lower risk of developing NAFLD.<\/p>\n<p>3. Additional Protective Foods: Dark chocolate and red peppers also helped reduce the likelihood of NAFLD.<\/p>\n<p>MRI scans also revealed that participants with a high flavonoid intake had less liver fat and lower inflammation markers than those who consumed less:<\/p>\n<p>1. Liver Fat Reduction: Those who consumed the most flavonoid-rich foods had 5.3% less liver fat, especially from apples, tea, and dark chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>2.
