{"id":22298,"date":"2020-07-11T13:30:11","date_gmt":"2020-07-11T17:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/?p=22298"},"modified":"2020-07-10T06:28:42","modified_gmt":"2020-07-10T10:28:42","slug":"simple-technique-cures-high-blood-pressure-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/2020\/07\/11\/simple-technique-cures-high-blood-pressure-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Simple Technique Cures High Blood Pressure (study)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blueheronhealthnews.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Breathing-technique-343276381.jpg\" alt=\"Simple Technique Cures High Blood Pressure\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9399\" \/>In a new study published in the journal <em>Cell Metabolism<\/em>, Australian scientists have finally proven, and explained how, a specific breathing technique lowers blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s article, I\u2019ll tell you how this technique works as well as teaching it to you step-by-step.<\/p>\n<p>You see, the sympathetic nervous system controls both the rate at which you breathe and the pressure of your blood through your arteries.<\/p>\n<p>By studying rats, the Australian team discovered that those who were at particularly high risk of developing blood pressure during their middle age had a modified or unnatural pattern of interaction between the neurons that regulate breathing rates and those that regulate blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>To be more precise, those at high risk of blood pressure showed larger fluctuations in blood pressure with every breath than those at low risk showed.<\/p>\n<p>When the researchers broke this unnatural interaction between the neurons responsible for breathing rate and those responsible for blood pressure, the rat&#8217;s blood pressure remained normal into their middle ages.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not sure how the scientists broke the breathing pattern with the rats (since teaching them breathing techniques is a challenge) but humans can easily do it with conscious slow, deep breathing.<\/p>\n<p>And it doesn\u2019t take much effort to learn:<\/p>\n<p>1) Sit in a comfortable chair with your spine straight.<\/p>\n<p>2) Focus on the place where your ribs meet your tummy, as you inhale slowly. You may count slowly to six as you inhale.<\/p>\n<p>3) Hold your breath for a couple of seconds before exhaling slowly (count slowly to eight while exhaling).<\/p>\n<p>4) Then pause breathing again for a couple of seconds before repeating steps 2\u20134 for a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Slow, deep breathing is helpful.
