Which indicates that sodas caused the disease in a more direct way than just by increasing obesity.<\/p>\n<p>Diet sodas also seemed to cause type 2 diabetes. Making them a little less healthy than sugary drinks.<\/p>\n<p>Oddly, the association in men was a lot weaker than for women.
