Blood Pressure Studies

Scientific Studies Proof
Mind/Body Exercises
Permanently Cure
High Blood Pressure:

On this page, you’ll learn about four scientific studies that proof without a doubt that mind-body exercises can permanently heal high blood pressure.

Many of these studies are lead by most respectful Universities and medical professions in the world.

Note: The following researchers use very traditional, basic mind-body exercises. we’ve studied all those techniques, tested and improve them to create, the easiest and most effective High Blood Pressure Exercises possible.

Study 1:

People Performing mind/body exercise
FOUR times more likely to
stop taking blood pressure medications:

According to a recent study (released in 2008) lead by Randall Zusman, M.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center. RR, two third of those practicing simple mind/body exercise, could begin to lower their blood pressure medications.

The study included over 100 people for whom medications had been unsuccessful to lower blood pressure below recommended level 140/90. Half the people, received mind/body audio to follow.

After eight weeks, everyone’s blood pressure was tested. Those whose blood pressure was below 140/90 were eligible to begin lowering their medications. If their blood pressure remained low during the following weeks, their medications doze was even further decreased or completely eliminated.

At the end of the study, more than two third of those following mind/body exercises had reduced their medications and third had completely eliminated one or more high blood pressure drug. Surely, more results will follow as the participants keep on doing the exercise.

Study 2:

50% Lowered Their Blood Pressure
Using Bio-Feedback
And Half Of Them Kept It Down:

According to a study published in 2003 and lead by nurse Carolyn B. Yucha, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, including 54 people, over half of them "learned" to lower their blood pressure using only their mind.

54 people who suffered hypertension underwent bio-feedback, relaxation treatment in Carolyn’s office. About half the patients managed to lower their blood pressure during the bio-feedback treatment.

Surprisingly though, 50% of those who managed to lower their blood pressure during the relaxation treatment, could keep their blood pressure down after the treatment was over, without using any further mind/body exercises.

No drugs, no lifestyle changes, no diet change.

Study 3:

Mind/Body Exercises
REVERSES hardening of the arteries:

Revolutionary study published in American Heart Association journal, Stroke proofs that not only do mind/body exercises lower blood pressure; they also soften the arteries that have before hardened due to the pressure.

Amparo Castillo-Richmond, M.D, professor of medicine at the College of Maharishi Vedic Medicine, who lead the research and his team took a 138 people who had been diagnosed with high blood pressure and taught them special mind/body exercises.

Using special ultrasound technology, the researchers measured the thickness of the arteries in the heart before and after doing the exercises for a few weeks.

After the testing period, the people doing the exercises showed a significant decrease of -0.098 mm in arteries thickness. Compare to increase of 0.054 mm in a different group that did not do the exercises.

This shows that even if your arteries have begun to thicken, due to your high blood pressure, you can reverse the process and gain healthy heart if you practice mind/body exercises.

Study 4:

Relaxation Techniques
Lower Blood Pressure In the Long Haul:

The respected Dr. Chandra Patel, a clinical instructor at University College, London, England, recently reported to the International Society of Hypertension in Heidelberg that mind/body exercises should be a treatment of choice for people with hypertension.

He based this on his four-year study of 192 workers at London manufactory company, who had been diagnosed with high blood pressure and lived pretty unhealthy lifestyle (smoked more than 10 cigarettes and ate fatty food). Non of the workers were taking any blood pressure medications.

For a month, Dr Patel and his team of researchers had weekly sessions with the workers where they taught them simple mind/body exercises and trained them to deal with stressful situations. In addition, the workers got mind/body exercise tapes with the home to practice every day.

At the end of the four weeks, the relaxation-group had, on the average, lowered their blood pressure down to almost normal 130/81, whereas the comparison group’s blood pressure (who did not do the exercises but were encouraged to improve their lifestyle) had hardly changed at all. The relaxation-group had also drastically lowered their cholesterol.

Now fast forward. For four years, the relaxation-group was not contacted. No encouragement was given to do the exercises. And as expected, only 3% had kept on doing the mind/body exercise daily. Despite that, the relaxation group still had the average of 7 points lower blood pressure than the comparison group.

This shows that doing mind/body exercises for a short period of time DOES positively affect blood pressure in the long haul.

At the end of the four years, the relaxation-group also reported less stress and anxiety, slept better and got better along with family and fellow co-workers than those who did not do the exercises.

Conclusion:

As you can see from the above studies, simple mind/body exercises have been proved to drastically lower blood pressure. They help whether you’re taking blood pressure medications or not.

They help almost everyone who uses them. And not only do they lower blood pressure, they also positively effect cholesterol level, overall health and help heal previously damaged heart arteries.

Things to Keep in Mind:

Since the researchers in the above studies are medical persons, not experts in mind/body exercises, they use very traditional, general mind/body exercises in their studies.

I’ve been studying mind/body exercises for over 30 years. I’ve taken every single technique used in these and other studies and worked relentlessly to improve them and maximize their effects.

Furthermore, I’ve tested them over and over again with hundreds of clients. And I’ve developed them into, what I believe, to be most powerful mind/body exercises for high blood pressure there is.

Not only effective, but also simple and easy to do…

In fact, the exercises are so easy that pretty much anyone can do them, no matter what kind of physical shape you’re in or how old you may be.

And they’re so simple; you can begin benefiting from them immediately. Just push the play button on the audio and follow along.

There is absolutely no risk:

Since all you’re practicing are simple mind/body exercises, there is no risk of injury and no side effects. There is no risk of lowering your blood pressure too much either.

You can practice the exercises with the absolute certainty that all you get is better health.
