Arthritis Cause and Cure Linked to Your GutYou have approximately 1,000 different types of bacteria in your digestive tract, most of which congregate in your colon.

And they’re extremely important.

A new study published in Genome Medicine, reveals how restoring your gut flora in a specific way can completely reverse your arthritis. Without medications.

And it’s actually very easy to do.

Gut flora, or microbiota, are required for the proper digestion of food, the smothering of harmful bacteria, the training of the immune system to distinguish between good and bad bacteria, and the triggering of the immune system to create both inflammatory cytokines to kill foreign organisms and anti-inflammatory cytokines to permit post-injury healing.

It is their role in inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes that first made researchers wondered whether gut flora contributed to inflammatory diseases like arthritis.

After all, if the specific bacteria that drive your immune system to attack your joints with inflammation can be identified and removed, arthritis will be history.

Because there are so many gut bacteria, however, it is taking scientists a long time to map them and decipher their exact functions.

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic performed several studies in 2016 to identify the gut flora involved in rheumatoid arthritis.

First, they found that people with arthritis had a smaller diversity of gut bacteria than people with healthy joints. The diversity decreased as the disease progressed.

Second, they identified a bacterium type, called actinobacteria. It is normally rare in healthy people, but overabundant in the guts of people with rheumatoid arthritis.

Third, they identified three bacteria; namely, collinsella, eggerthella, and faecalibacterium, as being more common in arthritis sufferers than in their healthy peers.

What contribution does this make?

If scientists can identify bacteria that are hostile to collinsella, eggerthella, and faecalibacterium, they can introduce these into your digestive tract to kill or crowd out these three harmful bacteria.

This is, in fact, the point of probiotic foods and supplements: to introduce good bacteria into your gut to crowd out the bad ones.

In my 3-step arthritis strategy (found here), I recommend extremely effective probiotic foods that have been proven to drastically improve arthritis. But I don’t stop there; using a few more natural methods, your arthritis will be history in three weeks or less…
