After the 20 weeks, the vegan group experienced significant improvements in nerve pain. They also lost 15 pounds on the average and their blood sugar levels (as well as other markers of type 2 diabetes) were drastically improved.

In fact, many of the people in the vegan group got to reduce their type 2 medications and were on their way to get completely off medications.

Now, vegan dieting is pretty strict- but simple. Just stay completely on plant-based food. That means eliminate fish, meat, eggs and milk products.

Not everyone is going to want to do this. But you can reap a lot of benefits by just choosing one or two days as vegan. That day, stick to only a plant-based diet. A popular slogan in the vegan group, for example, is “Vegan Monday”!
