How Traffic Makes You Obese (it’s different than what you think)How can traffic cause obesity?

You don’t even have to be driving. Just living close to a highway has now been proven to cause weight gain, sometimes even more than a bad diet.

Looks like it’s not enough to go on a food diet alone – you need a noise diet to keep your weight gain in check.

For the study, a team of Swedish scientists analyzed data of 5,075 residents who lived in areas with high levels of noise pollution and road traffic, and were in close proximity to airports or railway lines.

After taking into account factors like socio-economic status and occupation, it was found that those who lived in noisy environments were not only linked with greater belly fat but also a higher risk of heart disease.

This risk factor got doubled in those who lived in areas involving many noise factors.

The researchers speculated the increase in body fat is linked to noise pollution spiking the stress hormone cortisol. Repeated studies have proven that living around loud noise spikes cortisol levels. And most people are not even aware of it.

Cortisol performs many crucial functions, including metabolism of fats and carbohydrates for instant energy. The end result of this action is an increase in appetite that in turn is a major culprit in unhealthy weight gain.

Another disturbing discovery is how black carbon exposure, caused by air pollution, triggers leptin hormones that are associated with obesity.

There is, however, one ingredient that counteracts all weight gain factors. By loading yourself with this one ingredient, your body automatically sheds weight day and night. Learn more about this free weight loss ingredient here…
