High Blood Pressure And Insomnia Strange Results (you’ll be truly surprised)We all know that a good sleep is essential for your health. And you may have heard that a lack of sleep could lead to severe conditions such as high blood pressure.

But a recent research published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, puts a new twist on this general knowledge.

In fact, if you have trouble sleeping, you may laugh out loud once you hear what the researchers from Canada have to say about insomnia and high blood pressure.

After going over data of over 13,000 people who participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, the researchers found no causal effects from insomnia on high blood pressure.

This is crucial since many people who don’t sleep well worry that it may lead to hypertension, heart attack and stroke.

And worrying has been shown to be one of the worst things for high blood pressure. In fact, other studies have revealed that people who worried about their high blood pressure were more likely to suffer a heart attack than those who didn’t worry.

Even more importantly, those who worry about the effect of their insomnia may be tempted to take sleeping pills for “health reasons.” This is something you should never do as sleeping pills come with a series of side effects and cause dangerous complications during the day.

Dr. Nicholas Vozoris, the leading researcher for this study, says that previous studies indicating that insomnia causes high blood pressure were too small to be statically accurate and had several other flaws in them.

Now, this is not to say that you should not take any actions if you have trouble sleeping. But there are many natural things you can do without defaulting to sleeping pills.
