3. Beta blockers – This class of drugs is one of the most frequently prescribed drugs for high blood pressure, and like antidepressants, it affects the neurotransmitters in the brain to reduce the excitement level necessary for sexual intercourse.

4. Antihistamines – Antihistamines are very commonly prescribed for seasonal allergies as well as cough symptoms. It has been known to alter the way the nervous system reacts to stimulation around the penis. Fortunately, ED is usually temporary and gets reversed upon discontinuing use.

5. H2 Blockers – These pump inhibitors used for treating peptic ulcers, GERD, acid reflux, and esophagitis are notorious at causing ED. It doesn’t stop with that – it has also been known to decrease sexual libido and lower sperm count.
