Researchers conducting one of the largest studies in the world have drawn a critical line in the sand between workplace activity and activities done in a leisure setting.
The findings are the result of this groundbreaking new study that looked at whether or not there is a difference in exerting at work versus exerting at play.
In a massive study looking at scientific research done on more than 100,000 participants, spanning 3 continents, researchers have found that there may be a critical difference in your health habits if you rely on work-based exercise for your daily exercise requirements.
What this means is that the scientists looked at the kinds of physical activities being performed in the two settings. For instance, workplace exercise may include repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, or heavy lifting.
On the other hand, recreational or leisure-time exercise was generally the kind that is directed at helping to keep pounds off or doing something relaxing and enjoyable like swimming or golf.
Researchers found that those whose exercise was reported to be leisure-based had a higher tendency to control high blood pressure and to have better insulin sensitivity, whereas the work-based exercise participants did not.
They noted that not only is leisure-based activity a good way to control stress, but work-related stress is often the source of the elevated blood pressure in the first place.

Indoctrinating the masses with lies and skullduggery, the ‘healthy’ eating programmmes are nothing more than a slow kill eugenics on the world population to keep the numbers down, and to sterilise millions of people, as is proven by sperm counts across the globe falling at an alarming rate. Air, water, food, salt, are all critical to we humans, and ALL of them are poisoned in the extreme, add it all up, and this tells us what those in power are up to, and this is so important that it should not be taken with a pinch of salt. 75% of the body is water, so what should we drink most of each day? But they have us drinking ANYTHING as long as it is not pure water. 27% of our bodies are salt, most of it in the bone structure, and they have demonised it, so that some people will not eat it at all. When the body is deprived of salt, it cannibalises itself to survive, so it takes the salt from our skeletal structure, that is why many people, especially when they get older have brittle bones, also that ‘stoop’ because thay have deprived their body of that critical ingredient salt. The best salt on the market is ‘Himalayan Salt’ it has 84, yes, 84 vitamins and minerals and trace elements. It is a powerhouse of good for the body. It actually lowers blood pressure. The ‘establishment’ is our enemy, don’t listen to them.
