I have lost 10kg over 6 months by doing the same, except I do drink wine occasionally but never orange-or any- fruit juices, sodas etc. I also eat a high protein breakfast [not straight after getting out of bed] of steak, mushrooms tomatoes and eggs.Then I can function most of the day without feeling hungry. I thus avoid overeating and that’s the big deal for losing weight. My weight fluctuates by as much as 2 kg depending on circumstances, but the trend is down. And my health is better. I am non alcoholic, not taking desert and eat little bread ut the other day i just drank coconut water and it didn’t let me sleep for whole night going to toilet for pee.

This sounds great! I need to lower my sugars a lot. Mine are impossible to lower. My numbers do not go real high; but they stay high! I have increased my insulin by 10 units this week; it isnt enough! Im using 80 units now. Dr wants me on 100 IU.
My BP was 221/113 a few days ago. It stays about that, maybe 10 pts. lower on both scales. Sometimes 15 pts lower. Dr. is part of the problem. Took me off meds which worked somewhat better, over my protests. I need beta blockers because pulse rate is usually over 100+ all the time. Specialists put me on beta blockers am and pm. Dr (my PCP) took pm one away for a pill he wanted me to take. Now bp is ragingly high all the time. Chest hurts, I am exhausted; use breathing techniques regularly; take my meds. Looking for a heart specialist and an Internal Med. Dr. locally, for ASAP!
I think my BP is causing my sugars to rise horribly! Pain in head and bones all the time (I have Lupus like disease too) but these pains are like fever in my bones and all over (from the high bp, I think) neck is stiff and painful. Started taking hawthorne berry capsules 3 days ago. That does have “some” side effect. Not sure I can take them. I have no problem with “movements” until the hawthorne capsules. Now,cant keep solid movements. Trying to balance the amount of capsules. Too ill to take blood pressure and run to jon & hurt! I usually go by the name Gee; now, it is sure appropriate for me!
I still love your articles and your research. I did much research before I took the hawthorne. Most research recommended the mix of berries, leaves, and seeds, rather than the berries alone.
