Type 2 Diabetes Cured Using This Cheap Spice

People who are right on the cusp of developing type 2 diabetes have a tasty way to prevent developing full-blown diabetes, according to University researchers in Thailand.

What’s unusual with the results of this study is that this spice helped every single person who used it.

If you already have full-blown type 2 diabetes, you will definitely benefit as well from this cheap spice.

A common, economical spice used to give curry its distinctive taste and color was recently found to have some very amazing properties for health, making it more than just a seasoning.

Curcumin, which comes from the turmeric spice family, has been studied aggressively in recent months, and researchers are very excited about what they have seen.

Study participants in Thailand, 238 of them who were all pre-diabetic, were given either a placebo or a supplement using the curcumin compounds. During the study, 19 of the 119 adults in the placebo group ended up developing full blown diabetes.

In the curcumin group, NOT A SINGLE PERSON progressed to developing diabetes.

Other studies have shown that due to its anti-inflammatory properties, specifically boosting beta cell development in the pancreas, that it is a known combatant in the fight against diabetes for those who already have it.

Inflammation that damages the beta cells in the pancreas causes the organ to be less effective at producing the needed insulin to maintain proper metabolism.

Food…specifically too much of the wrong kinds, will lead to pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and diabetes. However, the great thing about this little spice is that it creates a tasty way to use food as a weapon against diabetes-causing inflammation.

  11. Jodi Knapp says:

The following are Turmeric doses recommended for adults in various forms:
    Cut root: 1.5 – 3 g per day
    Dried, powdered root: 1 – 3 g per day
Standardized powder (curcumin): 400 – 600 mg, 3 times per day
    Fluid extract (1:1) 30 – 90 drops a day
    Tincture (1:2): 15 – 30 drops, 4 times per day

You can safely take bigger doses for a short period of time if you’re focusing on fighting diabetes. Also remember that it’s always best to use any kind of ingredients in food rather than supplement forms.

(It’s a bitch when you have to print out the article, and all the reader comments too, isn’t it?) Blue Heron Health News, you have the most intelligent bunch of readers. I love to go back and re-read the articles and the reader comments. I too use some spices. I boil my cinnamon; it is supposed to keep something bad from happening; but I never can remember what that might be. I took it dry, almost a teaspoonful a day, with a slug of water; and nothing bad happened (for a year) except my sugar levels went down a lot. (I think nothing bad happened) It takes 40 consecutive days before you notice the decrease; and suddenly, it is there on your “stick it to yourself” monitor! I don’t know the correct dosage when I boil it; just guess and drink, or I mix it with more water, and make like a “stiff” tea, with a little sweet stuff.

  17. vssr kumar says:

the turmeric which people are talking about acts as cleansing agent on the liver. If the functioning of liver is perfect u are not liable for any attacks such as diabetes. Therefore in Indian Ayurveda, it is recommended to drink milk with a spoon or 2 spoons of turmeric without addding sugar to keep yourself healthy and free from such diseases.
