Researchers from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, using new technology that makes it possible to measure joint cartilage more accurately than before, recently blew the myth (conducted from limited previous studies) that exercise was bad for knee osteoarthritis.

To the contrary: according to their study, published in the American College of Sports Medicine journal, conducted on 10,000 people, exercise is very beneficial if done moderately.
